Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Door-to-Door Soul Winning“O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.”
(Psalm 47:1-2)

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for many of you who have been praying for my wife’s TMJ treatment. Her treatment is now finished. October 9 will be her first follow-up visit. Pray that she gets nothing but good news.

We had the opportunity to go soul winning with our supporting church in the Kansas City, Kansas, area. As we went knocking door to door, we noticed many Burmese people living in the apartments. We met a Burmese man who used to live in Maryland for 10 years. I asked him, “Have you ever been to church?” He responded, “Yes.” I said, “So you are familiar with Bible teachings?” He said, “Yes, I am.” So I continued by asking him this question, “If you were to die today, are you 100% sure you will be in Heaven?” He said, “Yes, because I accepted Jesus into my heart.” “Now that you are a child of God, if you sin, what will happen to you?” I asked him. “I will still go to Heaven, even when I sin as a child of God, but I need to confess my wrongdoing to Him in order to have a right relationship with God,” he said. I was so encouraged to hear him explaining that you cannot lose your salvation once you have accepted Jesus. I thanked him for allowing me to talk to him about Jesus, and I encouraged him to continue attending church.

A few doors after this, we met a Burmese teenager who was 14 years old. Her parents didn’t speak English, but they sat on the floor, watching me witnessing to their daughter. Lye thanked me for sharing with her the good news of Jesus Christ. Lye said to me as I walked out of her apartment, “We do go to church in this area.” I said, “Where?” We have a Burmese church which is pastored by a Burmese man,” she said. “Wonderful! That is great! Continuing going to that church and learning more about Jesus,” I said to Lye.

Thank you so much for your love, prayer, and financial support. God bless you.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
