Roberto Tirado Prayer Letter: Praise!PRAISE

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” (Colossians 1:18) Our church’s theme for 2017 is found in the latter part of this great verse, “that in all things he might have the preeminence.” As a church family and as individual believers, our goal and desire is that Jesus would have the preeminence in every area of our lives. On a recent Sunday night, two girls responded to the salvation invitation in our church service and were gloriously saved.

PRAYER

Please pray for Luchi, one of our faithful church members, whose brother-in-law passed away this past Sunday morning after a long sickness. We rejoice in that her brother-in-law, who was only 54 years old, recently had made a profession of faith in Christ. Luchi was the first believer I baptized in our church over six years ago. I was one of the people who was given the opportunity to give a short graveside salvation message to the family and friends of the deceased. Please pray that that the Word of God spoken to them would work in their hearts for salvation. Also, please pray for our church, as we have a goal in 2017 to knock on every door and get the Gospel message of salvation to our community of El Café in West Santo Domingo.

GRATITUDE

Angela, Elisabeth, and I are very thankful and grateful for each card, greeting, and financial gift we received for Christmas from our supporting churches. Thank you for thinking about us and taking the time to communicate and share with us during the busy Christmas season. We look forward in this new year to continuing to serve alongside with you, Pastor, and your church in preaching the Gospel of Christ to the needy Dominican and Haitian peoples. May God continue to abundantly bless you and your people as you serve Him together in your area.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
