Simeon Hudson Prayer Letter: God's Mighty Hand in Soul WinningWe wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Although it’s not a holiday here, we will celebrate it with another missionary family. Susie and I really miss the cranberry sauce; they don’t sell that here.

Our urgent need is for our visas to be renewed. This will be our third application. If we have no complications, next year we can apply for our permanent visas! We can turn in our paperwork on November 25. Your prayers are so appreciated.

My parents are in their mid-eighties, and Susie’s are in their high seventies. We plan on spending six weeks with them during the Christmas season. We arrive on December 7 and return to Argentina on January 20. Hopefully, we will see some of you during this short visit. Our main goal is to spend time with our parents, but we also hope to “pop in” to some close churches as time permits.

This month we saw God’s mighty hand in the salvation of 4 precious souls. We stood praying as 2 received Him, and we gave 15 Bibles to those who didn’t own the most important Book ever! Never underestimate the moving of His Spirit. After I led Maria to Christ, my partner and I walked off. In about 10 seconds, he said, “Let’s go back.” While talking to Maria, she had said she couldn’t attend Betel because she had a problem with a member at Betel. As Rueben talked to her again, her mom approached us. She had been sitting on the porch as I witnessed to Maria. As Rueben talked to Maria, I asked the mom Karina if she had heard us as we talked to Maria earlier. She said, “Yes.” I said, “Did you understand?” She said, “Yes.” I asked her if she wanted to receive Christ as her personal Saviour, and she said, “Yes!” Praise God that Rueben listened to the Holy Spirit about returning!

Without His power, we are nothing. Please pray for His leading in our lives and our ministries. Pray for the visas. Pray for us to have a safe trip to see our parents. Pray for the Torres family. He has arrived in Taco Pozo and is having Bible studies. When we return in January, we can help him plant a new church.

In Christ,

Simeon and Susie Hudson
