Matt and Katie Belle Bosje Prayer Letter: Fruit to Your AccountWhat a wonderful year 2023 was! God showed Himself to our family in many ways. Of course, the arrival of our son Michael was the biggest blessing we received this year. He’s growing fast and brings so much joy to our hearts. We are thankful for the privilege God has given us to be parents. Over the last 2 months, we have been in 4 states and 9 churches. My wife and I had the privilege to lead 6 souls to Christ in personal soul winning, and we are currently at 32% of our support goal.

One of the churches where we had the opportunity to present our ministry is pastored by my wife’s cousin, Bro. Jared Young. After the service, he introduced me to a young Thai man named DC. He is a foreign exchange student living with a host family in their area. Although he attends a Christian school, he claimed to be a Buddhist, but he admitted that he wasn’t a practicing Buddhist. After taking him through the Romans Road in my Thai Bible, I was able to witness to DC, and he sweetly accepted Christ as his Saviour.

In the early part of December, I went to Thailand with my dad and a small group from First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana. We spent 8 days in Thailand and were able to preach the Gospel in a refugee camp and several public schools. We preached to an estimated 7,000 people and saw somewhere between 1,500 to 2,000 profess their faith in Christ. It was an absolutely incredible trip, and God used it to encourage my passion for reaching Thai people with the Gospel.

On the flight to Thailand, we had a layover in Zurich, Switzerland. Since our layover was seven hours long, several of us decided to tour the city. As we left the airport, we met a couple who had the same idea. They asked if we could share an Uber, and for the next several hours, we toured Zurich together. The young man’s name was Eugene, and Bro. Joe Palmer and I had the chance to ask him about his soul. He told us that he had grown up going to a Christian school but had never been saved. We shared the Gospel with him, and standing right on the sidewalk in downtown Zurich, Eugene bowed his head and accepted Christ!

Thank you all for your prayers and support! These souls are fruit to your account! May God bless you!
