Jonathan and Brittany Beil Prayer Letter: Busiest Months of the Year!It seems like the final few months of the year can be the busiest months of the year! This past month, we had to the opportunity to participate with our church in Bangkok in a three-day English and Bible camp known as Life Camp. The camp was started over 30 years ago by a Baptist missionary, who is still serving the Lord in Thailand well into his 90s. The focus of the camp is to preach the Gospel by using English to invite those who might not attend a church service. Many churches, pastored by Thai nationals and missionaries, participated and hosted over 500 campers, a majority of whom were non-believers. Every morning and evening, all the campers attended a preaching service, where they listened to a sermon and heard the Gospel. After the services, the campers met with their counselors to discuss the salvation message. At the end of the camp week, dozens of people had professed their faith in Christ, including 5 teenagers from our church in Bangkok. Please pray for them as they follow Christ; they all come from devout Buddhist families. We are praising God for what He did through this camp ministry.

The day after we returned from the camp, my older brother Nathan arrived in Thailand for a visit. He is also a missionary, serving in Honduras. Spending a week together was refreshing and much needed. He was able to preach at Grace Baptist Church and then traveled to Northern Thailand with us and the Thai pastor of Grace. Many years ago, God allowed Pastor Kiatisak to start a ministry in Northern Thailand among the mountain villages. He currently works with around 15 pastors, whom he has trained, and he has also opened two Christian children’s homes. While there, we had the opportunity to travel up into the mountains to visit some churches and the children’s homes. It was humbling to see the pastors and their families serving God and others. There is much opportunity there for training and reaching remote areas bordering Burma and Laos.

God is working in Thailand! Pray for us as we share the Word of God with the people here and for the upcoming special events during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We are able to use these special days to reach those with the Gospel who have never heard. Please pray for hearts to be open, both in the services held at church and in the schools we will be visiting and sharing the story of Jesus with.

Thank you all for your continued love and support for our family. In December, we will be celebrating four years of living in Thailand! In the summer and fall of 2024, we are planning to take our first furlough. If you are interested in our coming to visit your church, please contact me at beils2thailand@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing some of you in the near future, but there is work to be done until then.

In His service,

Jonathan, Brittany, Judah, and Archer Beil
