John Hays Prayer Letter: A Report From the Field“I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink . . . .” (Matthew 25:35)

PERU, SOUTH AMERICA

The Lord is good and doing great things. Following is a report from the field:

“The Lord has allowed us to invest all of the “Klorgen 3000” units remaining in Lima into the Lord’s work. We have been privileged to send units with pastors, a Christian addiction center deep in the jungle, a Christian orphanage for the deaf and handicapped, missionaries going deep into the interior of the Amazon Jungle, and others working in various countries with developing ethnic groups. I love seeing the excitement in a pastor’s eyes as he begins to understand the eternal value of helping others have clean water as they learn of the Living Water. We have seen genuine reactions of encouragement and dedication as pastors understand just how the systems can be used to bring whole com-munities to hear of the saving power of Jesus Christ. When things begin to happen, it surprises and moves us to want to do more for Him. The group that we are planning for in Arequipa has changed to a bigger location with more influence. We are currently planning for 50 units, but I believe that we could easily come close to putting up to 100 units in the hands of the Lord’s servants if they were available.”

Bro. Lee Johnson and I have plans to take the 20 units left in Chiclayo into a meeting in the jungle in a place called Moyobamba. Bro. Lee felt that he could bring 10 or 15 pastors. This last week, the Lord brought a missionary evangelist working in that area across our path, and we now believe that up to 60 pastors and missionaries could be present at this training on soul winning, discipleship, and church planting— increasing the need significantly.

Please keep praying that the Lord would continue to throw the doors wide open and that we would have the faith and strength, through Him, to walk through.
