We’ve been praying for this moment for a long time, the time when we could go full-time on deputation. The Lord was so gracious to fill our March and April calendars with meetings. We decided to step out in faith, and the Lord has provided for us exceedingly above what we ever imagined. The Lord has answered prayer after prayer.
Before we got to our first meeting, we soon realized that the Devil didn’t like what we were doing. Right out of the gate, our youngest child came down with a fever. My wife and our youngest daughter couldn’t make it, but it didn’t stop the rest of us from going. Praise the Lord! We had a good conference! In our next meeting, the Devil decided to drain our battery before leaving for church, but we found a way to get to church! Thank you to the person at Gospel Light Baptist Church for helping us out with a new battery.
Months earlier, you may remember us praying for a small RV for our family to travel in while we were on deputation. Well, before our trip to Florida, I found one for sale on Facebook Marketplace seconds after it was posted. Furthermore, when they heard we were missionaries, they took $1,000 off the price. Glory to God! The RV has low mileage, needs little work to be done on it, is great on gas mileage, and was a fraction of what they usually go for on the market. We hope to be traveling in it by summer.
We’ve been blessed beyond measure, and we’ve only just started. Thank you, Lighthouse Baptist Church, Gospel Light Baptist Church, Fort Cooper Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, New Testament Baptist Church, Heritage Baptist Church, and Faith Baptist Church, for hosting us in the months of March and April. Thank you for the love and kindness you’ve all shown to us.
