We are very excited to announce that we have reached 95% of our support! We have purchased our tickets and will be leaving for Peru on the 22nd of January. We are very busy making our final preparations for the big move. We have been searching for an apartment online and taking care of final medical checkups and immunizations. We would appreciate your prayers that everything goes smoothly.
This stretch of time has been our busiest time of travel since we started our deputation. We have been as far west as California, as far north as Chicago, as far east as North Carolina, and as far south as Durango, Mexico. While visiting a church in Oklahoma, we went out soul winning near a university. We were not seeing any open doors and were almost out of places to visit in the apartment complex. Right before the we got to the end, we found a young man from California, who was studying computer engineering. God used our shared computer knowledge to open the door to his heart. He trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour that day!
We covet your prayers for this busy time of change for us, as well as for safe travels. There will be a time of adjustment and settling in, as well as much work that needs to be done. My Spanish is improving, but I still have a long way to go to get to where I need to be. I will be looking for and attending a language school right away so I can get up to speed as fast as possible.
Our next prayer letter will be from Peru! We look forward to the next phase of our ministry and the closing out of this present phase.
