Brandon and Ali Heselschwerdt Prayer Letter: Traveling, Traveling . . . and More Traveling! As the year comes to a close, we find ourselves becoming busier as we prepare and pray for ministry events coming up. After returning home from my Ghana Medical Trip, my family and I loaded up the car and headed for Western Kenya to survey the three clinical sites for Truth for Today Medical Missions Trip in March of 2024. It was a wonderful time as a family, while we also answered many of our questions in preparation for the medical trip! Two weeks later, Dr. & Mrs. Greg (Linda) Waller came to Kenya, and I made the same trip upcountry with them to get their final approval for the trip and the needed paperwork. Praise the Lord, we are moving forward and planning for March 15–25, 2024! Please pray for the ministry, as there is a lot that goes into it, but the blessings are eternal!

Sandwiched between my two trips upcountry, we had PPTA with our 12 national pastors. As always, it was a blessing to see the spiritual growth in each of these national pastors!

On November 12, after one of our Sunday morning services, I was able to go through the Gospel with a young man named Levis, who has been faithfully attending our church for months now. Daniel, thankfully, was there this particular Sunday and was able to translate for me. After answering several questions and explaining many verses, I am pleased to announce that Levis came to put his trust in Christ alone for salvation! Hallelujah!

Discipleship with Frederick and Lewis is going very well, as they are two of the most faithful men I know of when it comes to making time to study the Word of God! At the close of this month, Lewis finished and graduated his studies on the ABCs of Christian Growth. He has worked so hard and has grown so much. It’s been an honor to be his teacher! Pray that God will use these men for the cause of Christ in a mighty way!

Lastly, I would like to ask for our faithful prayer warriors to please pray for my dear wife Ali, as she has been very sick lately. After many doctors’ appointments and almost being overdosed by one, we have finally found a great physician. He has been doing many tests, and we are finally getting answers. She has been diagnosed with
thyroiditis and Hashimoto’s disease, which both deal with the thyroid. She has a very long road to recovery, but we are trusting God for healing! Also, please pray for our Back-to-School Friend Day service on January 7, 2024. Pray for my parents, who are coming January 8–21, 2024, and for Truth for Today Medical Missions Trip March 15–25, 2024!

Thank you and God bless you this holiday season.
