Robert Tirado Prayer Letter: Back in the Dominican Republic!PRAISE

“My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:2-3) We are so happy to be back in the Dominican Republic, where we have been serving the Lord for the last seven years! We arrived back to our home and church on March 1, once we obtained our temporary business visas. Angela, Elisabeth, and I look forward to continuing to serve our Saviour, reaching both the Dominican and Haitian peoples.

One of the goals that we had while in the States was to present our work to new churches and to raise more financial support. We are pleased to report to you that we were able to pick up two new supporting churches. Thank you, Eastern Avenue Baptist Church of St. Cloud, Florida, and Faith Baptist Church of MacClenny, Florida, for taking us on as your missionaries to the Dominican Republic!

PRAYER

Please continue to pray for us as we work with Immigration to obtain our Dominican residency, which involves a bit more paperwork and financial costs. We have been very busy since we arrived in Santo Domingo getting our required additional paperwork organized to turn in to Immigration. We also are continuing to work on getting our church incorporated now that we have received our visas. Please pray that our residency and church incorporation would both be approved as quickly as possible without any further complications.

GRATITUDE

As a family we are so grateful for our supporting churches; each one is such a blessing and encouragement to our family. One of the highlights of being stateside was being able to visit some of our faithful supporters in various states. We enjoyed seeing and spending time with the faithful saints of God who have supported our ministry and family for many years.

During the Christmas season, we were able to return to the Dominican Republic for 13 days to spend this special time with our church folk. God blessed this brief trip with 3 souls trusting Christ as their Saviour. After learning of our plans for our trip, Pastor Jim Callen asked me the cost of the round-trip tickets. Pastor Callen recommended to the members of Eastern Avenue Baptist Church to pay for our airline tickets. We were overwhelmed and grateful that Eastern Avenue Baptist Church voted to provide us $1,500.00 to pay the full cost of our tickets! Thank you, Pastor Callen and people, for your generosity.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
