Mark and Kim Palmani Prayer Letter: Anniversary ServicesFebruary has been exciting in the Philippines! Highland Baptist Church has been praying for the church anniversary. They passed out invitations and went door to door inviting families to come to the church anniversary. Thank the Lord for the dozens of first-time visitors who had never come to our church before. Many of these visitors had never heard the Gospel of salvation, so during the anniversary services, we preached the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that “. . . there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

The church also had a youth service on Friday night. Over 60 teenagers came to this youth service. The members prepared hot dogs and juice to help with their physical needs, but most importantly, their spiritual needs were fed because the Gospel was preached. To God be the glory; great things He hath done! The anniversary services were a success, with many souls calling on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

Two of our church members have started hosting home Bible studies in their homes during the week. These members usually offer a snack or coffee when they invite a family, neighbors, and friends over. One of our church men will give a simple, clear plan of salvation, along with a short Bible study. In this way, we are able to open doors for those who otherwise would not or cannot attend church services. Continue to pray that more souls would be saved through this soul-winning ministry.

God has given us safety as we have traveled thousands of miles in the last two months during our furlough. It has been seven years since we have been back to America because of COVID, so we appreciate every day we are here on furlough.

Thank you again for your love and prayers.
