Brandon and Ali Heselschwerdt Prayer Letter: Looking Back at 2023 and Forward to 2024It’s hard to believe that December and the year 2023 have already come to a close. It has been a blessing to look back and see what God has done throughout this year!

For the month of December, we were blessed to see many new visitors in our children’s class, as our teenagers have been faithfully bringing new visitors each week! In our adult class, we had several members graduate from our soul-winning course and are excited to share the Gospel with others. Please pray that the Lord will give each of them the boldness to share their faith with others and point them unto Christ!

We closed out this month with special Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve services. We had a wonderful time in church, followed by a great time of fellowship with both food and games!

It has been great to see our little group come together as a real family in Christ! The Lord has finally opened a door for us to move our Bible study/church from our home property to a more permanent location. Just after the first of the year, we will be moving to a storefront room just off the main road in our town. The church move is about 3.2 km (2 miles) from our home, so it is a little distance for some people to walk. Please pray that many of our members will still continue to be faithful even with the move.

Lastly, we want to praise the Lord for the many souls we were able to see saved throughout this year, for the many people who have finished discipleship classes and our soul-winning program, and for those who have come forward for believer’s baptism. We thank the Lord for what He did in 2023 and are looking forward to what He is going to do for the upcoming year of 2024.

Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting the Lord’s work here in Kenya, East Africa. We are so thankful for your partnership and wish all of you a Happy New Year.

Your co-laborers for lost souls across East Africa,
