Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers. We are doing well. We are taking care of ourselves. I’m in contact with my wife; we talk three times a day or more. I hope you are taking care of yourselves. Since I have been here since the COVID-19 lockdown, I had been trying to get a plane ticket back to the States because I was concerned about my family, but now everything seems to be okay. When the doors again open by the Colombia border, I will try to go back. Please pray for this. Thank you.
The church is doing well. We are meeting every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. About 9 to 10 adults come for these meetings; no children are allowed for the time being. Some other members would like to come, but the bus situation will not allow them to make it. Some of our members are complaining about their weight gain and their articulation pains. They are afraid to go out for a walk, so they are getting stressed because of the pandemic. Please, let’s pray together; this is a global situation, as you know.
The situation in Venezuela is still not getting any better. The gas prices went back to normal, but the quality of it is very bad. Many cars are FORD (“Found On Road Dead”). I have not driven my car since March. I go everywhere by foot—to church, to shop, to visit some members of the church, etc. Thanks to all the walking I’ve been doing, I have lost 28 pounds! The food prices are getting higher. It is difficult for people to have a decent meal. In addition, the water only comes once a week or once every two weeks. There are places that have not had water for months. Please keep praying.
The last three Saturdays, I have been going soul winning with a member of the church to the Barrios Hoods; it is because the police are not there. The police here are not friends; they are also trying to survey. Next Saturday we are going to a new place. Please keep praying for us. Thank you!
The church had 29 souls saved during the last 3 months. Praise the Lord! Amen!
