Adam and Karen DePaolis Prayer Letter: Furlough 2024It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone. Thank you for your continued support during this past year. We are truly humbled that you would count us worthy to be part of your missions family.

This past year definitely has been a year of learning and growing as a family. In March, my wife was finally granted her U.S. visa, and we were able to make our first visit to the USA as a family. It has been a good year, but God has definitely been working on our patience. Throughout the ups and downs of this year, my wife and I have reflected on various occasions how that God always comes through, even when we doubt if He will. What a mighty God we serve!

God provided many occasions for us to serve Him this year as well. We had the opportunity to travel 18 hours by bus in order to lead a Music Camp this summer in the state of Chiapas. We also had the privilege to be a part of the Missions Conference at Valley Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona, this past October.

As many of you already know, my family and I had plans to return for a brief furlough this spring. I came to Mexico in June 2021 with plans of getting married and returning to the States to finish deputation. However, God had other plans. Through Godly counsel, we have decided to extend our furlough throughout the entire year. We are scheduling churches to visit now. If you know of any churches looking to take on more missionaries, feel free to reach out. Please pray that God would continue to guide and protect us in this endeavor. Praise the Lord, we have January through April already scheduled.

Please continue to pray for the church plant we were working with in Mexico. The young people from the Bible institute will continue to work with this church plant. Pray that we can find a place to rent for our services. The owner of the house where we had been meeting asked for his house back.

Thank you once again, and may God continue to bless and use you as we partner together.
