Zach and Cassandra Foust Jr. Prayer Letter: What an Amazing God We Serve! We would like to start this letter off by saying what an amazing God we serve! The Lord has more than taken care of us on our deputation journey. We have met so many wonderful servants of Christ and have seen the Lord work across the country. In the last several weeks, we have had the opportunity to be in many churches throughout North Carolina and Florida.

My brother Caleb graduated from Bible college at the very end of April, and after his graduation, we headed straight to Jacksonville, North Carolina, where we got to be with Pastor Jon McConkey and Maranatha Baptist Church. The Lord is doing amazing things with their church! Each week the church is packed with many visitors, and many souls are being saved! I was grateful for the opportunity to preach. We were also able to join the choir and help out around the church while we were there. We got to spend some time with their wonderful family and get to know them better. We were blessed to be able to stay in the area for a couple of weeks while we had different meetings nearby.

That Wednesday, we were able to go to Faith Baptist Church in West End and meet Pastor Chad Nall and his church family. We had a great time with them! Over the weekend, I was graciously allowed to speak at the Men’s Prayer Breakfast for Pastor Joe Shakour and Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wilson, North Carolina. It was great to see so many men come together to pray! The following Wednesday, we were able to go to Grace Baptist Church in Jacksonville, where we met Pastor James Butts and his church family. They are such sweet people! We are very thankful for the time we had with them.

The following Sunday, we were able to go to Fellowship Baptist Church in Durham. They were very friendly and took such good care of us! I had been a part of their Missions Conference more than 10 years ago when my parents were on deputation. For Sunday school, we were able to be a part of their Spanish service and meet Pastor Silvano, whose family is from Peru. I had the opportunity to meet his family there many years ago. We returned to the English service and met so many good people. After church were able to spend some time with Pastor Finley and his family. They were a huge blessing to us!

We left North Carolina for Florida, where my youngest brother Logan had a homeschool graduation ceremony in Pensacola. We reunited with my parents there and were able to spend a few days together. At the end of the month, we were able to go to Middleburg, Florida, where we got to be a part of the service at Calvary Baptist Church. We made new friends, as well as got to see old friends of ours from college. We are very excited to be their missionaries!

This past month, Team Peru started the new semester of their Bible institute. They meet each Monday night to train new servants of Christ for the ministry. Although we are still here on deputation, I have the opportunity to teach a class by way of
Zoom video calls. This semester I get to teach on missions. We were able to have a good friend of mine, Missionary Daniel Lang in Nigeria, give a testimony about the call to missions in his life! It was exciting to see our Peruvians learn from another missionary on the other side of the globe. Would you pray for our students as they prepare to serve the Lord?

As you can see, the Lord has blessed us exponentially. We have been very busy on deputation, with opportunities to serve wherever we go. God is good. Would you continue to pray that we would finish quickly and get back to Peru? We are excited for what the Lord has ahead!

Sincerely,

Zach and Cassandra Foust
