We are HOME! Our container arrived on our property on February 2, and we officially moved in on February 5! Thank you so much for praying for and anticipating this day with us! While we are beyond thankful for the house that we were able to live in from May 2021 through February 2022, we cannot express how good it feels to be surrounded by our material possessions. Kellie has been extra busy making her dreams become a reality. Landon has settled right in; our little guy has already lived in three different homes before the age of two. My dad and grandma came for a visit towards the end of January, and they were able to be here when the container was delivered. We so enjoyed our time with family. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 10 months since we left America. The arrival of the container is nothing short of a miracle. The week that it was set to arrive, all it did was rain. Our yard at that point was all dirt—dirt + rain = mud. We had truckloads of road dirt laid down as a temporary driveway. It was continuously being rained on, which made it soft for the trucks to drive on. To make a long story short, our container was scheduled for a Wednesday delivery. Tuesday night. it poured down rain, hard rain, and basically ruined all the progress that had been made up to that point. We were discouraged. We were SO CLOSE, after months of waiting, to having our container show up. We prayed for wisdom that night. We felt the leading of God to go ahead and proceed with the plan, so that’s what we did. Around 2:00 p.m., my dad, grandma, the Wyatts, Landon, Kellie, and I watched the container drive onto our property! We are still praising God for its arrival and for the blessing of being in the home that we first set eyes on in 2018. Salvations While my dad was here, I asked him to teach my Sunday school class. He graciously accepted and also gave a clear presentation of the Gospel. I had been teaching about “beginnings” in my class: in the beginning (Creation), new beginnings (Noah), the beginning of knowledge, a new beginning in Christ, and the beginning of eternity (Revelation). After my dad was finished with the Gospel presentation, I had six of my students trust Christ as their Saviour! Faith Baptist Church held another Kids’ Day for the Swahili children. I, with the help of a translator, preached the message that day. There were over 220 kids in attendance, and 20 of them trusted Christ! During the month of January, there were 194 people who trusted Christ throughout the numerous ministries of Faith Baptist Church! New Building The ribbon-cutting ceremony for our brand-new, multipurpose building was in January! Our people sacrificially gave their money for a year in order for this new building to be built. They were so proud when that ribbon was cut! There are four storage rooms (two inside and two outside), a kitchenette, and the very first Western-styled bathroom on the property! The main room is used twice on Sundays for English Sunday school and the Swahili girls’ Sunday school. It has been used for teen activities, Faith Baptist College, the brand-new English adult Bible studies, the staff Christmas party, and even a marriage seminar. This new building has already proven to be a blessing for our ministry. Snail Mail We had a lady reach out to us for some ministry updates. In the email, she stated that our November-December Prayer Letter was three months behind in its arrival. We obviously had no idea that the mail is that slow in America right now. If you are still waiting on prayer letters to be mailed to you, we do have a digital copy that we email out. Our digital copies contain our video updates. They are also uploaded on our website: morrowtanzania.com. You can subscribe to our digital prayer letters on our website or send us an email with your request to morrowtanzania@hotmail.com.
