Fisa Mihy-mihyndu Prayer Letter: A Famine of the Word of God in GabonPraise the Lord for allowing me the blessed opportunity to present my ministry before 21 churches and to travel nearly 10,000 miles between June and July. God enabled me to travel to 11 different states: Nevada, California, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Tennessee. I was very much encouraged and refreshed in the spirit by the warmth, love, and hospitality of those churches. God blessed me greatly by allowing me to see 13 souls trust Jesus Christ as Saviour at a rest stop, in homes, in apartment complexes, at a hotel, in front of churches, etc. God opened a door for me to mentor a group of 5 teenage boys and preach at a Christian family camp at Grand Junction under the leadership of Pastor Gordon Alley of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Denver at the beginning of July. At the camp, God gave me the opportunity to meet two pastors and schedule two meetings at their upcoming missions conferences. Praise the Lord!

I thank my God also for the privilege to meet, fellowship, and go soul winning with some of the most faithful, selfless, and dedicated servants of the Lord. To hear about the grace of God bestowed upon Pastor Sullean for 12-plus years, where God has enabled him to lead at least one soul to Jesus daily, greatly inspired me. Seated in pews during services, I marveled at God’s mighty hand upon those churches to remain the same, true and faithful to the old time religion over the years. Over and over again, I was blessed to hear so many church members vow their relentless prayers for my ministry and for the Word of God to have free course in Gabon. I met several people with such a heart for missions and lost souls. It was a blessing to see, fellowship, and get counsel again from my pastor while getting ready for my journeys in the Northeast.
I was blessed to attend the first Missions Mastermind and Missions University in July. Pastor Wilkerson, Brother Bosje, and the whole FBMI staff worked so diligently and sacrificially to organize those two events to help missionaries be more successful and efficient on the mission field. I thank my God for the opportunity to learn from veteran missionaries and other missionaries on deputation. One of the things I learned was a commitment to continued improvement in all areas of the ministry. Plus, I was able to weave some new relationships with other missionaries currently serving the Lord in Africa.

Please pray for a project to raise some funds to print and ship 1 million French Gospel tracts and 10 thousand French Bibles, the equivalent of the King James Bible, before the end of May 2019. The total cost for the printing is $50,000. My goal is to pass out 500 Gospel tracts daily in Libreville, so this supply will last for 5 years. There is a dire famine in Gabon for the pure Word of God.

Thank you very much for your faithful and relentless prayerful and financial support! Both your spiritual and financial support are the backbone of my ministry.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
