Team Ghana Update: Building Needed for New Church PlantNew Church Plant

In our May/June 2019 update, we shared with you about a church plant we were starting in Mamponteng, another part of our city of 2 million. We have been running a bus route to this area since January of 2019, but on December 29, 2019, this church had its first Sunday morning service under the leadership of Pastor Kingsley Addai (pronounced ah-day). He graduated from our Bible college in 2018. He and his wife Lydia have two precious children! Here are some statistics from this new church plant:

• They had an attendance of 78 in their first church service.
• They are averaging 21 coming out for soul winning and soul-winning training.
• This church plant already has 3 men in Bible college for training.
• God has already provided a 100-foot by 80-foot piece of land for this church plant.

Church Building Needed!

Growth for this new church plant would be greatly accelerated if we were able to build a building on their new church property. The cost to build a 2,800 square foot building is $35,000. We are asking you to consider helping with this need. We are counting on God to touch the hearts of those who would like to see this new church plant flourish. Please take time to watch this video we put together about this need: fbmi.org/mpg/mamponteng.

How to Help

In addition to praying for this need, payments can be made at fbmi.org/mpg/mamponteng. Once you land on the page, scroll down to see the payment form. For donations over $60, we recommend the electronic check option because of the lower processing fees. Alternatively, checks may be sent to FBMI, 507 State Street, Hammond, IN 46320. Place “#6180 Mamponteng” in the memo section. Please email us at mike.sarver@fbmi.org to make us aware of the donation. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.

God bless,
