Team Ghana Update: A Missions Trip to LiberiaOne of our Bible college students, Leo Tarkpor Grugbay, recently made a visit to his hometown in Liberia. He returned with such great reports that I wanted you to hear about his visit that turned out to be a missions trip.

During his visit, Leo won his childhood friend Alphonse Beh (photo on left—Alphonse is in yellow) and Alphonse’s wife Evelyn. He also won his aunt Grace and cousin Kingston (middle photo). Pictured on the right is Leo with Pastor Junior Yormie Zuapeawon, the father of our college student, Anthony Zuapeawon. Pastor Zuapeawon believed that you have to obey the commandments and do good works in order to go to Heaven. However, Leo was able to convince him from the Scriptures that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. His son Anthony was thrilled to hear the news. Pray for this pastor to grow in grace and share this newfound truth with others.

During his stay in Liberia, Leo also had opportunities to preach the Gospel in four different schools. He preached to the students and the administration. They were happy to hear the Gospel. Many of the students placed their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave out Gospel tracts to each student, and they were happy to read them.

Prayer Requests

We thank God for the zeal of Brother Leo. Please pray for God to send us more students with such zeal for souls. Also, the Osgoods are our team family-in-focus this month. Please take a few moments to read about their ministry and pray for them. Their prayer letters are available at fbmi.org/missionary/osgood.
