“Priscilla Yeboah is a teenager in our church. [Priscilla is in green in the picture associated with this update, along with other young people from this church.] Priscilla’s mother asked her to teach her to read the Bible in the local language. Priscilla decided to have her mother begin by reading the soul-winning verses. While reading, she said to Priscilla, ‘I remember something about these verses. Your pastor used these verses to teach me that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone. I can now see it more clearly as I read the Bible for myself.’ ” This teenager came to church with joy in her heart, knowing that her mother had believed the Gospel. Pastor Isaac Kwaw
“I met a Seventh-Day Adventist whose name was Mr. Kyei. When I asked him how to go to Heaven, he said one must obey the Law and do good works. So I used my Bible to explain to him salvation by grace through faith, and he accepted Christ! Mr. Kyei promised to come to church because my teaching was so different from what he had heard in the past. I was very surprised when he came to church the next Sunday with his son, because he stays in a village 9 kilometers outside of Obuasi. During the service, Mr. Kyei testified of his new encounter with Christ. Pray for this man to grow in the Lord. Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu
“I met Madam Akua and her two children in her home, and she received the Gospel. She acknowledged that she would not have gone to Heaven if she had died before hearing the message which I brought. She has now been attending our Bible study with her children. Mr. Gabriel Nsiah is faithful to all of our church meetings and activities. Pastor Abraham Subui
“I gave Nelson Apongui a lift on my motorcycle and took the opportunity, upon reaching his destination, to preach the Gospel to him. He was thinking that being a good man, being righteous, and stopping his sin would get him to Heaven. He saw from the Bible that he was wrong and said, ‘Wow! What a Gospel!’ He came to church the following Sunday.” – Salvation Baptist Church, Nkwanta, Brong-Ahafo Region, Ghana [Pastor Subui received a diploma from our Bible college in February 2017, and he is continuing with his bachelor’s degree.]
Pastor James Vaye: “On a recent Saturday, I divided our soul winners into three groups. They went to three different areas and won a total of 52 souls to Christ. Mr. Alusine Bah, a former Fulani Muslim, is part of our soul-winning team. He has been used of God to witness to his people in their native tongue of Fula.
