Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Muslim Converts in Ghana and LiberiaPlease pray for these men, their families, and their ministries as you read their testimonies.

Pastor Rexford Aning

“When I first came to Fiapre, I met Mohammed, Malik, and Bawa, who excitedly heard the Gospel, believed, and joined the church. But then their father, who was working in a different village, heard of it and called me, demanding that the children stay away from church or he would have nothing to do with them. The eldest son Mohammed came to me and said, ‘Pastor, don’t worry. We will come back to church when we are on our own.’ A few weeks ago, Mohammed completed school, and now he is back in church. He is going to get baptized this Sunday. Praise the Lord for the power He placed in the Gospel!” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Fiapre, Sunyani, Ghana [Pastor Aning graduated from our Bible college in June 2012.]

Pastor Robert Colee

“Thank God for using me in Lofa, a Muslim-dominated county [the Liberian equivalent of a state]. Several Muslims have been saved through the soul-winning program of our church. Currently, we have 12 converted Muslims who are now members of our church. Mr. Mohammed Konneh, who trusted Christ a couple of months ago, has a lot of influence and has brought many Muslims to church. Some fear their family because of the decision they made to become Christians. Please pray for our church and for those who go soul winning; pray that God will protect them from the hands of offended Muslims.” – Alpha Omega Baptist Church, Voinjama, Lofa County, Liberia [Pastor Colee has been helped by our Bible college graduate, Pastor George Menyon.]

Pastor Isaac Kwaw

“Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! I met a lady named Mary Afrifah, who was 70 years old, and she asked me this question, ‘What shall a person do to go to Heaven?’ So I took my Bible to explain to her salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. When I finished, I also asked her what the Bible says a person must do to go to Heaven. She said, ‘You have to believe in Jesus Christ.’ Her five grandchildren also accepted Christ as Saviour. This lady had attended the Kingdom Hall (of the Jehovah’s Witnesses) since she was a child. Please pray that, through her, her children will come to church.” – Bible Baptist Church, Obuasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Kwaw graduated from our Bible college in February 2017.]

Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu

“I met Amma Fuah while soul winning in town. We sat down, and I shared the Gospel with her. She thought her righteousness would earn her salvation, but I showed her from the Bible how that salvation is by faith in Christ alone. She believed the Gospel and now is born again. John Akatta attends church faithfully. Ataa Christiana is a member who is growing in the Lord. She has been able to win her younger brother and sister to Christ, who also attend our church.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Kuntanase, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Osei-Owusu received a certificate from our Bible college in December 2011.]

Pastor Abraham Subui

“Madam Mary Baaba had a dream that she was sent to the Lake of Fire. She saw the dream as a warning from God and prayed that God would show her the way of escape. It was then that I met Mary and showed her the way of salvation by faith in Christ alone. Coincidentally, this lady was pregnant and gave birth the same day she found salvation. Please pray for this lady to start attending our church.” – Salvation Baptist Church, Nkwanta, Brong Ahafo Region, Ghana [Pastor Subui received a diploma from our Bible college in February 2017, and he is continuing with his bachelor’s degree.]
