Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Learning the Bible and Teaching OthersThank you for partnering with Team Ghana and our church-planting efforts. Please pray that, through these men, their families, and ministries, the Word of God would be glorified.

Pastor Isaac Akwaboah

“I want to thank God for a woman I won to the Lord last month. She has been coming to City Baptist Church with her three children. Just last week she brought her husband to church as well. Please continue to pray for the completion of our church building.” [Note: Pastor Akwaboah brought his church choir to our anniversary service in November. That choir is pictured to the right. Then on Sunday, 5 February, Pastor Akwaboah brought 10 of his church’s recent converts to our evening service for baptism!] – Nwamase-Agric, Kumasi, Ghana

Pastor Rexford Aning

“Fundamental Baptist Church of Fiapre now has four Sunday school classes. One of our teachers is Alex Addai. He gave a testimony last month concerning his growth in our church. He was thankful to God for allowing him to meet me. He said that before he joined our church, he did not even know where to find Genesis or Revelation in the Bible, but now he knows the Bible well enough to teach others.”

One of Pastor Aning’s converts, Bismark, is now a student at Hyles-Anderson College of West Africa. Bismark gives this testimony: “One of my converts was a Muslim, and this is what he said, ‘I thank God that He has used you [Bismark] to witness unto me the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that He alone can give eternal life.’ He is very happy to be saved. He also said, ‘Truly, Jesus is Saviour.’ He admits that his elders and teachers are wrong, so he asked that I come again to teach him the Bible.” – Fiapre, Sunyani, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Pastor Philip Gafatsi

“I met Courage Avor and Kwame Senyo on my way to the market. I gave them tracts, and they invited me to their house. There I shared the Gospel with them, and both got saved! Awude Elikem is growing in the Lord. He is faithful to church, winning souls, and involved in all that goes on with the church. God has provided our church with a plot of land. We pray that He will provide for us a church building as well.” – Sokode, Volta Region, Ghana

Pastor Joseph Kerkulah

“We went on evangelism a week ago in a village called Small Gbarnga with about 250 people. Eleven raised their hands to profess their newfound faith in Christ. The chief of the village, Mr. Wuo Martien, came to me privately after the service and said he wanted to trust Christ. I took the Bible and led him to Christ. He brought his wife to church on Sunday. Please pray for him.” – Daniel Town, Grand Bassa, Liberia
