Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: "How About Your Friends?"Praise the Lord for the souls being saved and converts being discipled through the ministries of these pastors!

Pastor Rexford Aning

“At the end of July, I posted on Facebook about Eric and Kwame who got baptized weeks ago. I have been going there every week to continue our studies, and it has been amazing. When I got to Eric’s house last week, I met several of his friends who had come to call on him to play football. Typically, boys are looking for the chance to go and play football. Eric was different. He quickly went in and brought his finished lesson on baptism. I asked him, ‘How about your friends?’ Before I knew it, he had organized those available for me to preach to them. They all prayed and asked Jesus to save them. In the picture, we have Eric at the top in the plaid shirt and then, proceeding clockwise, Junior, Asantewaa, Yaw, Kofi, Ahenkan, and ending with Kwame in the red shirt. I start following up on those guys tomorrow.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Fiapre, Sunyani, Ghana [Pastor Aning graduated from our Bible college in June 2012. He started the church in Fiapre in October 2013.]

Pastor Guanue Konah

Please pray for the church and family of the late Pastor Guanue Konah. He pastored the Redemption Baptist Church of Ganta, Nimba County, Liberia. Our graduate, Pastor George Menyon, had trained Pastor Konah in soul winning and worked with him to start this church.

Pastor Konah was sick and taken to the hospital, but he died at the hospital on July 20, 2020. He was only 43 years old and left behind his wife Comfort and their four children. Pray that God will strengthen Mrs. Konah (pictured below with one of her children and Pastor Menyon). Pray for the children to grow in the Lord and for their needs to be met.

Pastor Menyon preached at the funeral of the late Pastor Konah. About 30 people got saved, and 4 men surrendered to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu

“Our church member, Adwoa Nyantakyiwah, introduced me to Paul Owusu Afrane. I shared the Gospel with Paul, and he believed on Christ. He has been attending our church and is very eager to be a soul winner.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Kuntanase, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Osei-Owusu received a certificate from our Bible college in December 2011.]
