Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: A Happy MonthThank you for your support for our church-planting efforts through your prayers or financial support for Adopt-A-Village (#6150), Team Ghana (#6100), or for one or more specific national pastors. Here are recent testimonies from several of our pastors.

Pastor Abraham Subui

“Brother Opoku [on the left in the picture] is a recent convert. I met him in April while soul winning, and I asked him if he was 100 percent sure that he would go to Heaven if he died. He told me that he would go to Heaven because he goes to church, obeys the commandments, and has stopped sinning. I took my time to prove to him from the Bible that what he believed could not take him to Heaven; only faith in Jesus Christ alone can take someone to Heaven. He understood the Gospel and placed his faith in Jesus Christ. He was happy to receive the free gift of eternal life.

“This new convert is showing signs of growth. He has been coming faithfully to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Also, he is working on the discipleship lesson series. He requested that we should be praying for his wife, who goes to a different church; please pray that she will also come to know the truth.” – Salvation Baptist Church, Donkro Nkwanta, Bono East Region, Ghana [Pastor Subui received his bachelor’s degree from our Bible college in February 2020.]

Pastor Isaac Owusu Ansah

“This month was one of the happiest months because our church had two people who came through our soul-winning ministry, and they are now members of our church. We have also planned to baptize eight converts this month at Lake Bosomtwe.

“Theophilus Appiah came to church and decided to be a church member because of the information-center preaching. [An information center rents out airtime on a neighborhood loudspeaker system.] He called us after the preaching and then on Sunday he came to church, at which time I won him to Christ. By God’s grace, he has now completed the first three discipleship lessons and wants to be baptized at the next opportunity.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Petrensa, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Owusu Ansah was reached by our graduates, Pastor Collins Agyei and Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu. He is currently enrolled in our Bible college.]

Pastor Philip Gafatsi

“I won a man by the name of Amewuga Abotsi to Christ recently. We rode in the same taxi while traveling to Ho. While we were going, I gave out tracts to others in the taxi, and he was so interested after reading the tract. We exchanged contact information, and I called him the next day. He had read the tract and realized that salvation was by faith in Christ, but he thought that if one believed but then sinned, that person would lose his salvation. I went through the plan of salvation with him and taught him eternal security. Then he believed that when you get saved, you are saved forever.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Sokode, Volta Region, Ghana [Pastor Gafatsi graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]
