Xavier and Rebecca Lopez Prayer Letter: People Saved and Baptized and Lives Transformed for the Glory of God!Thank you for your faithful prayers and support for our family and ministry. We are seeing God do great and mighty things through our church as we strive to reach more people with the Gospel! Your prayers are helping us to see people saved and baptized and lives transformed for the glory of God.

Awhile back, our church had its first Teen Camp! Our church from La Paz came to join us, and we had an incredible time together praying, preaching, playing, and singing! It was a life-changing experience, and God blessed everything we did along the way. We even went soul winning during one of the days of camp, and some of the teens saw their first souls saved. During the last night’s invitation, all of the young people responded to give their lives to serve Him in full-time Christian service. As a result, some of our young people from La Paz entered the seminary in our church in La Paz, and one 20-year-old young man named Adrian, who is from our church in Santa Cruz, left his studies at the public university to join our seminary to prepare himself for full-time Christian service! Please pray that these young people will follow through with their decisions and that God would use them to help us plant 1,000 churches for God.

We are now seeing people saved almost every day and regularly seeing people baptized. God is working in the hearts of the people in our church to be soul- conscious. Please pray that God would raise up zealous soul winners, powerful preachers, Godly Sunday school teachers, church planters, and ladies of God to help us raise up a generation of servants of Christ who are willing to sacrifice their lives to help reach the world with the Gospel.

We were knocking doors when a man opened his garage to see who was there. I handed him a Gospel tract and invited him to church. He quietly listened and then quickly said, “I’m looking for a church, and I’ll be there Sunday.” He then disappeared, and I went on to the next house, looking for someone else to invite. He came the following Sunday, along with his wife. This couple came with a shattered marriage, financial reversals, overwhelming debt, and were on the verge of a nasty divorce. We started a Bible study together, which gave us plenty of opportunities to talk. Together, through prayer, the Word of God, and the mighty power of God, their lives began to change. As of the writing of this letter, they recently told me how God has transformed their marriage! It was so inspirational to see the joy of the Lord on their faces and the hollow look in their eyes cleared away as they praised God for His goodness to help them get their lives back on track! He has already gone soul winning with me to learn how to see people saved. Thank you so much for praying for us as we work with more people. Your prayers are helping to make an impact on the lives of the Bolivian people. Please pray for God’s blessing, provision, and protection on “the garage man” and his wife. Please also pray that God would give us a larger location for our church.
