Wes and Cynthia Palla Prayer Letter: Biblical Truth Bringing in New FamiliesWe are so grateful for your partnership with our ministry. Your prayers and financial support have contributed to souls being saved, baptized, discipled, and added to the church. In our last letter, I asked you to pray for our Vacation Bible School that was coming up. Praise the Lord, we had a great turnout! Everything ran smoothly, and we had over 20 salvation decisions by the end of the 3 days.

I wanted to share a quick story to highlight why your prayers are so important. Over the past several months, we have been praying daily, asking God to send more families to our church. About two months ago, we had a family begin attending that had spent years in a different denomination. They had reached a breaking point concerning some doctrinal issues, and when they sought to leave the church quietly, the pastor “cursed” them for their unfaithfulness. It was a spiritually traumatic time for them. They found our church and attended two services a week apart. They then started to let some friends and family know about this Baptist church they had attended and enjoyed. Over the next month, we had five new families visit the church because of the invitation this gentleman had given them. Four of these families, including the original one, are faithfully attending church. We have seen several of them saved and one baptized, with two more lined up to be baptized. Several are currently going through our discipleship program to learn what our church’s core beliefs are. God answers prayer!

Please continue to pray for the church here. We are training new workers and teachers to serve in the church. We have our 3rd anniversary service coming up at the beginning of September. Then my family and I will be Stateside for four weeks for a quick round of meetings. By God’s grace, we have people in place who are capable of leading in our absence, but there is just never a convenient time not to be at our station. We rejoice at the recent numerical growth the Lord has blessed us with, but there is so much more work to do. We are eager to keep pressing forward. We want to see more souls saved, more lives transformed, and more laborers sent out into the harvest.

We love you, we appreciate you, and we are praying for you.

Declaring His glory,

Wesley Palla
