Warren Storm Prayer Letter: State Inspections and Bus Ministry ClinicDOT Inspections

April was a month of mainly inspecting buses and preparing them for state inspection. We were able to help five churches get their buses ready to be inspected. Thankfully, all but one of the buses passed. We went back to Elyria, Ohio, in May and fixed the bus that didn’t pass inspection.

Bus Clinic

At Bible Baptist Church in York, Pennsylvania, we held a Bus Ministry Clinic for Pastor Bill Schutt. We had training for the bus mechanics, drivers, and bus workers. I went with the bus director and visited some young people who had stopped coming to Sunday school. It is a joy to me to go on the bus routes with the bus captains and talk to the riders about the Lord Jesus, Who loves them and died for them.

May 6

We were able to attend Hyles-Anderson College graduation. It was a beautiful service! Our granddaughter, Leslie Swartz, sang in a couple of the groups. Our daughter Jacque and granddaughter Lorianne came to attend the graduation and then take Leslie home when school was out.

Wedding

On May 21, our son and his fiancé Hailey became Mr. and Mrs. William Storm. They are making their home in Verona, Virginia. We were blessed to be able to have a Storm family reunion there.

In May we helped churches in Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. We so enjoyed the beautiful mountains. No painter can paint the mountains like our God can.

Parents Trust Christ

While we were helping Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia, I had the privilege of going with a bus captain and sharing the Gospel with parents of bus kids. Three of the parents accepted the Lord Jesus as their own personal Saviour. We went away rejoicing and thanking God for what He had done. Then when we were at the laundromat, my wife witnessed to the attendant, Lindsey. When she heard the good news of the Gospel, she sweetly trusted the Lord Jesus. She also wanted someone from the church to come by and talk to her again.

Partnering

We want to thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support. Thank you for your faith in our ministry and for partnering with us to help the Bus Ministries across the nation. We ask that you would pray for more mechanics to answer God’s call to help our churches. Please pray that we can encourage the pastors to start or increase their Bus Ministries and reach many more bus families with the Gospel.

The time is short, and “. . . The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)
