Warren and Jary Lynn Storm Prayer Letter: God's Handiwork in SpringGod’s Handiwork

As we traveled north from the Gulf, we enjoyed the colorful blossoms on the trees and Azalea bushes along the way. “The heavens declare the glory of God . . . .” (Psalm 19:1) Spring is one of our favorite times of the year; it is when God makes things new and fresh again.

50th Anniversary Reunion

Our 50th anniversary celebration of Hyles-Anderson College was a wonderful blessing. Pastor and Mrs. Wilkerson and all those who brought it together did a fantastic job of making it truly a graduation and reunion to remember. We are so grateful that we were able to be home for it.

Jesus Saves

Our laundry attendant Jazmin in Elyria, Ohio, trusted Jesus as her Saviour when we shared the Gospel with her. She was so happy to get it settled. Later that week when I was fixing buses in the church lot, Jim came by and asked me if I could help him with his RV. I gave him the information where he could get help, and I gave him the Gospel as well. Jim trusted Christ as his Saviour right there. That Saturday evening, my wife and I had the privilege of seeing God save Paxton, Antoine, and Antoine’s friend Julius right outside the Lake Avenue Baptist Church. The next Saturday at Gospel Baptist Church in Poland, Ohio, Don and I went soul winning, and he led Donna to Jesus. Sunday, Donna came to church and made her public profession of faith. She came back to church that evening and brought her friend Natalie with her. When a soul accepts Jesus as their Saviour, it is such a joy to us! “. . . there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” (Luke 15:10)

Fixing Buses

In 14 churches, God enabled us to help the mechanics and laymen fix 35 buses. The Ohio buses had to have State Inspection by the Highway Patrol. To God be the glory, 9 out of 13 buses passed inspection the very first time. We work on the buses and bathe them in prayer, and God does the rest. Without Him we can do nothing—we are just dirty wrenches in God’s hand.

We are so thankful for your prayers and financial support. You have a part in every bus kid and parent who trusts Christ and in every Bus Ministry that we have been able to help through these now 28 years of our Keep the Buses Rolling Ministry. “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” (Proverbs 19:17)

Prayer Requests

First, pray that the more churches will start Bus Ministries and that the churches that have Bus Ministries will grow and have more CDL drivers, bus mechanics, and faithful bus workers to reach the bus families for Christ. Second, pray for our health and safety as we travel and work. Third, pray for more Bus Ministry missionaries to help our churches reach their communities.

Yours for souls,

Warren & Jary Lynn Storm
