Roberto and Angela Tirado Prayer Letter: We Are Grateful and BlessedPRAISE

“As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” (Proverbs 25:25) The Lord has been very gracious and kind to my family and me during my health issues. The infection on my chest I mentioned in my last prayer kept getting worse, and I had to be admitted to the VA hospital in San Juan in July for a period of one month. During this time, two operations were performed on me, one in July and another in August. I was released from the hospital on August 24. On the very next day, I started an eight-week, daily antibiotic home-infusion therapy, which ended on October 19. Praise the Lord, I completed the home-infusion therapy without any health complications. Every week, I had labs done at the VA clinic in Mayagüez to check for any possible negative effects from the antibiotic. In November, I will have a few more follow-up clinic visits in San Juan.

Please to continue to pray that I will have a full recovery. Please pray, as we have been diligently looking for a house to rent on the North Coast of Puerto Rico. Please also pray for a building that we can rent to start our church. Please pray that many souls would be won to Christ through our ministry. Please also pray for the 35 of the 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico without any independent Baptist witness. Perhaps the Lord would touch your heart to help us reach souls on the North Coast of Puerto Rico.

“But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.” (Philippians 4:10) The Lord Jesus has truly blessed us with each one of our supporting churches. You have been there for us in your prayers and financial support of my family and ministry. We are truly honored and privileged to serve alongside you to preach the Gospel of Christ to my people. Your care of us hath truly flourished again and again.

Faithfully continuing in the service of Jesus,

Roberto Tirado
