PRAISE
“The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.” (Proverbs 13:19) Praise the Lord, on October 22, 2023, we had the opening service of our church, Iglesia Bautista Costa Norte (North Coast Baptist Church), in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. I am so grateful to be able to serve the Lord in my homeland, especially after three surgeries and a massive stroke. Jesus has been so good to me and my family! Wow! I have the great honor to serve the King of kings! It just doesn’t get any better than that. Amen!!
We had a total attendance of eight people. We will, with God’s help, keep preaching the Gospel of Christ. I am not discouraged by the small beginning. We will continue to plant the seed, water it, nurture it, and, with God’s blessings, watch it grow! “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)
An extra blessing the Lord gave us was having one of our supporting pastors, Bro. Darrell Hurst, help us in passing out invitations for our Opening Day service. Thank you, Pastor Hurst, for being such an encouragement to us!
PRAYER
Please pray with us so that many souls will be saved through our ministry. “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” (Romans 10:1)
GRATITUDE
Thank you so much for sticking with us as we made a field change and during my health issues. You have been a great blessing to my family. Thanks for your patience, your prayers, and your faithful financial support.
