Roberto and Angela Tirado Prayer Letter: Good News from a Far Country!PRAISE

“As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” (Proverbs 25:25) I want to take this opportunity to praise Jesus for recently giving me the privilege to preach God’s Word! It’s the first time that I have been able to preach since my massive stroke on July 12 of last year. The Lord has been so good to me in my recovery! For a brief time after my stroke, I was not even able to feel or control my left side. Now, through the many prayers of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I continue to serve Jesus! My wife Angela and daughter Elisabeth have also been crucial to my recovery. Praise God for a great family! I have also received and continue to receive excellent healthcare from the VA clinics and hospital here in Puerto Rico.

Brother Tim Carpenter of Bearing Precious Seed, located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and others on a missions trip to Puerto Rico helped us distribute 1,320 Romans booklets in just a couple of hours. Two men from that group, Rob and Joe, did some much-needed work on our building and also helped distribute Romans Bible portions.

PRAYER

Please pray as we continue to get ready for our building permit to use the building that we rented for our church services. We had two air-conditioning units installed, purchased fire extinguishers, completed many necessary repairs, purchased chairs, and continued painting and cleaning for our inspection by the fire and health departments.

Please pray that souls will be reached for Christ through our witnessing and distribution of the Romans Bible portions.

GRATITUDE

We are grateful for the progress God has given to us through the help of His people. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial sacrifices for the work of Christ in Puerto Rico.

Continuing to faithfully serve Jesus,

Roberto Tirado
