Roberto and Angela Tirado Prayer Letter: Brethren, Pray for UsPRAISE

“Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.” (Romans15:30) My family and I are so blessed to have such a faithful group of people laboring together in their prayers for us. We, as the Apostle Paul did, realize the importance of God’s people praying for us and our ministry. Often, we receive texts, emails, and cards from our supporting churches, letting us know that they are striving together with us in their prayers for us.

PRAYER

“Brethren, pray for us.” (I Thessalonians 5:25) Almost three months ago, I had triple-bypass heart surgery, about which many faithful brethren prayed. I ask that you continue to pray for my full recovery. In June, I had a bacterial infection in my right leg, the leg from which the veins were extracted for my heart surgery. Since last week, I have had another infection, but this time on my chest. The doctors have prescribed me antibiotics. Please pray along with us that the infection would be cleared up completely.

We have been praying and searching for a house to rent on the Northwest Coast, the area where we are to going to start our church. Please pray that we would be able to find a rental home soon.

Please also pray for my father, Ramon Tirado, who is 87 years old, as he was recently diagnosed with pneumonia. He is currently hospitalized in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

GRATITUDE

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.” (II Thessalonians 3:1) Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support of my family and ministry. In the month of June, we received special love offerings from our supporters. Thank you! We also received $1,000.00 from Harvest Baptist Church, Grass Lake, Michigan, to pay for the shipping costs of a pallet of Romanos to Puerto Rico.

Faithfully continuing in the service of Jesus,

Roberto Tirado
