“The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.” (Proverbs 13:19) We praise our Lord that He has led us to a rental house in the town of Hatillo on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico! My family and I are so pleased with His choice for us. We moved into our house on March 1. It took a couple of days to get our electric service hooked up and about 1½ weeks to get our water service connected.
We have been soul winning in different barrios of Hatillo, and a young man named Miguel (age 17) received Jesus as his Saviour. We are visiting door to door and doing tract distribution at traffic lights. We were very excited to receive a pallet of 75 boxes (24,750 booklets) of Spanish Romans just three days ago. Thank you, Harvest Baptist Church and Pastor Daniel, for the special offering for the shipping costs!
We are praying for the Lord to give us a family as fruit from our soul-winning and tract-distribution efforts. Please pray that we can see more souls saved. We are also praying, if possible, to hold church services in a home or in a local community center while continuing to look for a storefront to rent for our church.
Thank you for your prayerful and financial support of our ministry. We are grateful and appreciative for your investment in our family and the work the Lord has called us to do. Some of our supporting churches receive our prayer letters by mail and/or email. If your church would prefer to receive our prayer letters by email only, please let us know.
Thank you to the various missionary circles and churches that sent us Easter cards and Mother’s Day cards for Angela. Please make sure your missionary circle has our new address in Hatillo; the post office is forwarding our mail four to six weeks after the postmark.
We have a Facebook page for the church we are starting. It can be found under Iglesia Bautista Costa Norte. Recent photos from our soul winning, tract distributing, and receiving the Bible portions are posted there.
Faithfully continuing to serve Jesus,
