Robert Tirado Prayer Letter: Little ChildrenPRAISE

“Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mathew 19:13-14) One of the most important and rewarding ministries for our people is working with children. The children of the communities surrounding our church had a great time at our church’s 2015 Vacation Bible School. Boys and girls enthusiastically sang Bible songs and learned the Bible. Many children visited our church for the first time. We praise the Lord for the 25 “little children” who put their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

PRAYER

There are two very important prayer needs that I am asking you to fervently pray for on our behalf. We ask you to pray that the Dominican government would approve our church’s request for incorporation. We have completed all the required paperwork and have been waiting for two months for final government approval. Our church’s incorporation is essential for my family and me to obtain our residence visas to continue to serve our Lord in the Dominican Republic. We are planning on applying for our residence visas through the Dominican Consulate in Miami, Florida, once our church’s incorporation is complete. Please pray that our church’s incorporation would be approved soon and that we could obtain our residence visas as quickly as possible.

GRATITUDE

My family and I would like to express our gratitude to the children of Freedom Baptist Church of Eastover, North Carolina, for their generosity in giving to our church van fund. Through the combined efforts of their VBS children and the Preschool/Kindergarten Children’s Church Class, they raised an amazing total of $526.23 for our church van fund! The faith and hard work of these children is just amazing to me. Thank you to each boy and girl whom God touched to give so that Dominican and Haitian children could be saved. Our prayer is that God would continue to richly bless each and every one of you.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
