Robert and Anny Wilson Prayer Letter: "As the Days of Heaven upon Earth"We invite you to rejoice with us in the blessings of God upon our ministries. Since our last prayer letter, 40 people have come to visit our churches, and 25 have made a public profession of faith in Christ. Our churches are thriving, and we are now in our Winter Campaign to fortify our families. May Christ be magnified!

We have named our Winter Campaign, “As the Days of Heaven upon the Earth,” taken from Deuteronomy 11:18-21. Our focus has been on teaching our people that a biblical family is like Heaven on earth. We have been inspiring our people to bring their entire families to these teachings. Several families have complied. For example, last week we had a family with 16 members present.

We thank all of you who have contributed to our Van Fund. We now have enough funds to purchase our vehicle! The kind of van we need is scarce, and they go pretty quickly when they appear online. In our city, they are much sought after. The good news is that this brings down the cost of parts and repairs. We are daily searching and praying that the Lord will lead us to the right vehicle.

Isaiah 61:1 says, “. . . he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted . . . .” I recently preached at the wake of a 13-year-old girl named Samantha, who was saved through our ministries. Samantha was shot and killed by her father, who is a drug addict. I brought several of our members with me to the wake to play the guitar and sing and to help console the family. Crowds were coming and going, so I preached the Gospel three times. Our church members who were outside witnessed to other family members. Scores of people were saved.

Last Sunday, 28 people from Samantha’s family came to church, many of whom were first-time visitors, and several of them made a public profession of faith in Christ. Isaiah 61:3 says, “. . . to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” In the end, a tragic situation brought much glory to God!

In a couple of weeks, we will be giving out Christmas bags to all of the children in our churches. These bags contain a nice toy, some candy, and a Gospel tract. This promotion usually brings several new families into our churches. We are praying that God will use this day to bring a great harvest of souls.

Our young people are working on a Christmas play for Christmas Day. Our hope is that many parents, who have never attended before, will attend. This will also get many people involved who have not participated before. We pray that this will result in much glory to our Lord and King.

Please pray for God to give us the right church vehicle and for the wisdom to know it when we find it. Pray that our church families will be strengthened during our Winter Campaign. Also, please pray that the Lord will give us a great harvest of souls during this Christmas season. We are praying for you.
In His service,

Robert Wilson
