Phil and Tanya Powless Prayer Letter: Let's Point Souls to Jesus! The last few months have been busy and blessed of the Lord as we continue to seek to serve the Lord here in London, Ontario, Canada! We are so thankful for the investment of prayers and support that you continue to bestow on the behalf of our family and the work God has called us to here.

We had the blessing of giving our daughter Savannah away in marriage to a fine Christian young man she met in Bible college. They married in April and are now residing in the state of Wisconsin, where they are actively serving the Lord together in a great church! Also in the month of May, we had the opportunity to witness Luke graduate from a four-year program in Bible college, as well as our daughter and her new husband Aidan graduate and finish their programs at college.

The Lord continues to add His blessings as we seek to serve Him in soul-winning and ministry efforts. It is a blessing and encouragement to see many of our dear people at church getting more involved in serving the Lord! It is always a blessing to see folks getting involved in singing, serving, and soul winning! The first couple days of July, we conducted our annual Soul- Winning Conference! It was a blessed time of challenge and encouragement! Three souls were saved during those days, one after the Sunday morning service and two during a Tuesday afternoon Soul-Winning Blitz!

On a recent Thursday evening soul-winning outing, some men went soul winning with me. We were able to meet Roberto (man in center wearing the basketball jersey). Roberto is the housemate of one of the men who recently began to attend our church. We were able to share the Gospel with Roberto; and, praise the Lord, he sweetly got saved that evening. He attended church with us the following Sunday! Please be in prayer for Roberto as we continue to follow up on him.

Also recently, one of the ladies of our church invited a young lady to church with her. The young lady’s name is Kaye! Kaye began to attend church faithfully, making her own way into church by riding the city bus from across town. God began working in this young lady’s heart through the preaching of God’s Word and through Christian fellowship and encouragement. Soon thereafter, my wife and another lady from our church set an appointment to visit Kaye in her home. My wife shared the Gospel with Kaye, and she sweetly accepted Jesus as her Saviour. A couple of weeks later, Kaye obeyed the Lord in believer’s baptism! May God help us all to keep pressing on because . . . there IS someone waiting for us!! Let’s point them to Jesus!

Pressing on the upward way,
