We finished 2021 on a great note with a baptismal service, where 5 new believers followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. Each one of these new believers has a story of grace that makes evident the grace and providence of God on their lives. One such lady, who came to Tegucigalpa to attend university, was concerned over how her family would react to her getting baptized in an “evangelical” church. Since her brother is a Catholic preacher, she knew she would have to deal with him and her family when she went home for Christmas. Despite this, she did the right thing anyway and followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. We also had many visitors in December, for which we are very grateful.
We were also able to start the construction of our church nursery. I would like to thank Faith Baptist Church in Artesia, New Mexico, for their tremendous help with this project. Please pray that the Lord would provide the money needed to finish this project. After many years of having the nursery in a gazebo, our ladies are excited about having a “real nursery.”
We are looking forward to a great 2022. Thank you for prayers and financial support. May God bless you and use you.
Truly,
Osmin Gutierrez
