I pray this letter finds you well. I have great news! I believe we have the money to bring electricity to our property. It is now a matter of getting the permits from the government and a signature from a neighbor. This neighbor must give permission because his property will be slightly affected by it. If we can’t get the neighbor to sign the permission, it will bring up the cost to about $3,000, which will put us over budget, so please pray about this issue.
Back in July, our mission director, Bro. Mark Bosje, visited us. He felt that we needed a vehicle for our ministry and has set up a fund to help us raise money for that purpose. He has established Fund #9903 with FBMI, our mission board, in case you would like to contribute to this purpose.
Next July-August 2023, we will be dropping off our youngest son at Bible college. We want to take advantage of the trip to visit some of our supporting churches. If you would like for us to visit during this time, please write to the following email: osmin.gutierrez@fbmi.org.
Our evangelism continues to go forward. Because of our people’s schedules, we have found that Sunday afternoon is the best time to go soul winning as a church. We are visiting new areas and have had people trust Christ and several visitors come. What a blessing it is to see members with a conviction to tell others about Jesus! We have a lady with a 40-day-old baby who, rather than using her baby as an excuse not to go soul winning, brings her baby along with her. That baby is probably our youngest soul-winning partner ever!
