Mshama and Martha Kinyonga Prayer Letter: VisitorsIt is always an honor to be able to write and share with you all that God is doing over here in Tanzania. We thank you for your prayer and financial support. We know that without you all teaming up with us, we would not have been able to do what we have done.

Visitors

In the month of March, we were honored to have two groups of people come and see our ministry here in Tanzania. We enjoyed so much showing them firsthand where their monies are going. Our folks enjoy so much hosting and just getting to know others. We had the privilege to take one of the groups to our village church in Giaro. There we had a service and enjoyed great fellowship together. They have started building their church, and it will be exciting to see the totally finished product in the future. Thank you to all who pray and who have helped get them started on their new property.

We were also able to host a Kids’ Day, with over 900 kids in attendance. We had 12 different teams with 8 different stations of fun activities, Bible memorization, etc. Then everyone came together to hear the Gospel. We saw 142 trust in Christ, with 1 baptism the next day on Sunday. Because of Kids’ Day, we started a new bus route in Kiegea. There were 30-plus kids who came for Kids’ Day, and we told them they were welcome to come every Sunday and continue to grow in the Lord. Since then, 25-30 on a 15-passenger bus have been faithful each week. We are always grateful to expand our influence.

Bro. Matt from Florida came as well. He was able to preach some very challenging and encouraging messages to our folks on Sunday and Wednesday. We are always honored to host groups anytime.

Resurrection Sunday

We had a great turnout for Resurrection Sunday. As you know, many family and friends who don’t normally come to church will come on a holiday. We also had a wedding, so it was a great opportunity to share the hope and joy that only Christ can bring. We had over 980 people come that day. The wedding of Amoni and Eva was beautiful; they are a wonderful, Godly young couple that we are so proud of. Please pray for them as they start their new life together as one.

I do have a quick prayer request. Please pray for my wife, as she just left to go back to the States on April 13. She needs to have some tests run to see what is wrong with her digestive system. We know that God is the ultimate healer but are very grateful that He allows doctors and tests to help diagnose. The kids and I will remain in Tanzania anxiously awaiting her return.

Thank you all for your investment in the souls here in Tanzania. Please know that we pray for you all and the ministries that God has allowed you to serve in.

For His glory,

Mshama, Martha, Esther, Benjamin, Rachel, & Sarah Kinyonga
