Missionary #6011 Prayer Letter: The Need for Clean Water Leads a Soul to the Living WaterWe are so blessed! God is so good all the time! Thank you to all of you for your various forms of love shown to us at birthdays, anniversaries, etc.! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support! We could not be here without you standing with us!

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our family, D___ W___, born May 11, 2019, at 7:42 a.m. local time. He weighed in at 10 pounds 2 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Mother and baby boy are both doing well, and the family is adjusting very well.

On a prayer note, the university did not want to issue a visa for the baby but has since agreed. This may be a harbinger of things to come for our family, so we would appreciate your continued prayers for wisdom, etc. on the visa matters.

We had a water problem at our house one evening, and I went down to the corner store to pick up some drinking water. While I was there, an African medical student walked in, and we started chatting. Starting with his cross necklace, we quickly got into the Gospel; and, praise God, he quickly turned from trusting in good works to trusting in Jesus Christ only for salvation.

A couple of days later, the water was still tasting quite foul. Our neighbor came, and I asked him about the situation; thankfully, he was quickly able to resolve it. After talking for a few minutes, he mentioned reading the Bible, and I was able to invite him in and talk about some of his questions. He and his wife have both heard the Gospel, but please continue to pray that they will choose to believe.

Praise the Lord! Arn___ and Dex___ also chose to believe. Please pray for their continued growth. Please also pray for others who have been witnessed to but have yet to believe, such as Jon__, Ted__, De___, Zha____, and Ch___, as well as many others who have heard or seen the Gospel as well. Pray that we will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and have wisdom.

It was great to have my in-laws come (no really!) and later my sister Hannah. They all were such a blessing! We are so thankful to be blessed with good families! We also enjoyed some guests from New York as well and appreciate their coming!

Please pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send forth laborers into His harvest. The harvest truly is plenteous. It is so wonderful to be His servant here! Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support!

In His service,

Missionary #6011 and Family

PS. We praise the Lord also for a vehicle to be able to use! What a huge blessing!
