Mark and Kim Palmani Prayer Letter: New Church PlantWe praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy these last two months. Pastor Orlando and his wife Hannah are graduates of our Bible college. They have the second church, Pines Park Baptist Church, that we started about 11 years ago. A few months ago, Pastor Orlando felt burdened to start another church, Apugan Baptist Mission, in his home area. They can only meet twice a month on Saturday mornings, but the very first service had 15 people in attendance. This new church plant is about 45 minutes from Pines Park Baptist Church. We send some of our own church members to help with the visitation, soul winning, and church services. We thank the Lord for the souls that have been saved there, including several members of Pastor Orlando’s family. Please continue to pray that God will work in hearts so that more souls will be saved.

Our Bible college just ended the school year, and we are already preparing for next year. Highland Baptist Bible College will begin classes again sometime in August. Please pray that the Lord will continue to provide more young men and young ladies to be trained for the ministry. One of our biggest needs is for the finances to build dormitories for these men and ladies.

We continue to hold home Bible studies in the new church that we started in 2020. Family Baptist Church is still meeting in the living area of a church member’s home. We are looking forward to the country opening up so that there will be no more restrictions in capacity, allowing for a childr

en’s ministry in this area.

As the Philippines chooses their new president, we pray that the new leader will allow Gospel-preaching churches to continue the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ. Attached are a couple of photos of the 7 recent baptisms of Apugan Baptist Mission.
