WE ARE MISSIONARIES! We are thrilled to bring you our first official prayer letter as missionaries with FBMI! God has been so good to us. We finished Candidate School in July, and God gave us a wonderful sending church as well! Following our Commissioning Service, God gave us our first deputation meetings in two special churches.
WHAT GOD IS DOING! First, we were privileged to visit Central Baptist Church in Pontoon Beach, Illinois, and present our ministry to 20 pastors at a breakfast there and in the church. We were blessed by the sweet folks there and their generosity to us. Next, we visited my home church, Calvary Baptist Church, in Olney, Illinois. Lauretta was able to help with the music in both churches, and both churches took us on for support!
Since getting involved in the Bus Ministry at our sending church, we have seen 7 souls saved and many new riders, with over 60 bus kids in attendance this last Sunday! Unfortunately, the bus for our route broke down, but we are thankful to be able to help with that! We have also been able to help numerous churches, missionaries, and evangelists with their vehicles by phone and video calls.
PLEASE PRAY for us as we get involved with our home church’s Missions Conference in a couple of weeks and start scheduling more meetings for next year. Also pray for laborers, as commanded by our Lord and Saviour in Matthew 9:38. We have seen a great need for people to commit to the service of the Lord in every church we have been to recently.
