Luis Martinez Prayer Letter: Grateful for God's Blessings in 2014Matthew 1:23 says, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” My family and I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015. My prayer is that together we can accomplish greater works for Christ during 2015.

We thank God for all the souls who have been saved and baptized throughout this year. We are grateful for all the first-time visitors who have attended our church recently. Many of those visitors have been saved and baptized and have joined our church. I am so encouraged and thrilled to report that our attendance has been up towards the end of this year. Families are growing, and the Lord continues to add to His church such as should be saved. There is a lot more work that needs to be done, more families that need to be reached, and more marriages that need to be strengthened.

I would like to say a special thank you to my dear friend and faithful supporter, Dr. Danny Ortiz, the pastor of Fundamental Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas, for making it possible for my wife and me to attend a marriage retreat in Acapulco, Mexico. The Lord knows we needed that retreat.
