Luis and Carolina Martinez Prayer Letter: Always a Joy to See People SavedIII John 1:4 says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” I pray you are doing well when you receive this letter, along with your family and loved ones. My family and I are doing well, and I want to thank you for being a part of this ministry.

Recently, I was coming out of our local post office when a mailman by the name of Jose was on his way to lunch. I invited myself to go eat lunch with him so I could witness to him, and he accepted. After we finished lunch, Jose allowed me to witness to him, and he received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. It’s always a joy to see people saved.

We have been fervently praying for the government to lower the restrictions and requirements and allow us to reopen our Christian school, Lighthouse Baptist Academy. We thank God that in late August, we were allowed and approved to reopen. So far, over a dozen of our students have been won to Christ. Several of these heard the Gospel in chapel or in Bible class and would walk up to their teacher, asking to be saved. Several have also come to my office and mentioned to me that they needed to be saved. The Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation!

I’m thrilled and blessed that our daughter Carolina Raquel is now a student at Hyles-Anderson College. She now joins her brothers Luis and Jose in Bible college. Lord willing, our son Luis will be graduating in April 2022. Our son Jose is a junior this year.

Prayer Requests

• Please pray that we can continue getting out the Gospel even during challenging COVID restrictions.
• Please pray that God would protect us and keep us safe during hurricane season.

May God continue to bless you as you serve Him faithfully. Thank you very much for your love, prayers, and faithful support. Thank you also for helping and supporting us as we continue winning, loving, and serving the people of Puerto Rico. God bless you.

In Christ,

Luis M. Martinez
