Luis and Carolina Martinez Prayer Letter: 25 Year of Service in Puerto Rico!I Timothy 1:12 says, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” I pray that when you receive this letter, you are doing well, along with your family and loved ones. My family and I are doing well, and we would like to thank you so much for being a part of this ministry.

During the month of August, I got to celebrate 25 years of service here in Puerto Rico. I am reminded of the great honor that the Lord has given me by allowing me to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these wonderful people. I am truly blessed beyond measure. God has been so GOOD!!!

To my surprise, our church celebrated this milestone in many ways. Our founding pastor, Moises Rosario, was with us and preached a very powerful and challenging message. We are thankful for the visitors who came, heard the Gospel, and were saved and baptized. Our son Jay flew in from Hawaii and surprised us during the service. My wife and I cried like you could not imagine.

Our Fall Program is going well in both churches. Both churches have been growing spiritually and in number. We’ve been able to celebrate Grandparents Day and Friend Day with good attendances.

PRAYER REQUESTS

• The health of our daughter Carolina Raquel—she is improving slowly.
• The church in Humacao is in need of a pastor.
• Pray for souls to be saved, baptized, and added to the church during our upcoming services.
• Pray for our two major construction projects; the parking lot needs asphalt and repairs, and so does our property fence.

May God continue to bless you as you serve Him faithfully. Thank you very much for your love, prayers, and faithful support. You are so generous! God bless you.

In Christ,

Luis M. Martinez
