I praise the Lord for His blessings at the beginning of this spring season. As I drive on the road, I’m reminded to be thankful for the promises that the Lord gives us every time it rains.
On February 19, I shared my testimony and a devotional with the King’s Daughters from my home church. On March 11, I had the opportunity to share my testimony with the Women’s Missionary Society in Winthrop, Maine. The Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) is a group of ladies that meet together and pray specifically for missionaries and the needs in their churches. On March 13, I was in Winterport, Maine, and was blessed to see their members again, as well as children from the Good News Club.
The Good News Club (GNC) is a Bible Club that is typically done in the public schools with the help of an organization called Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). In Good News Club, we play games, have a snack, tell a missionary story, and teach a Bible lesson and a Bible verse. God has allowed me to help with the club in Hampden since 2015. Thirty-two children heard the Gospel either one time or came regularly at the Hampden Elementary School. Twelve middle schoolers were on the roster from Hermon, as we learned how to apply the Ten Commandments to everyday life. Twenty-six children came to the club in Corinth, where we learned about the temple. I am thankful that Christ provided helpers to fill in the gaps when I left the state of Maine.
I’m thankful for the Lord allowing Abby, a college student from my home church, to help me with my deputation video. She worked hard in between her classes and job.
In my last letter, I asked you to pray for my vehicle, as my “check engine light” was on. Well, it turns out that the light has a mind of its own, which comes off and on, but according to my mechanic, since it is not causing any issues while driving, my vehicle is okay. Praise the Lord for His protection on my Mitsubishi.
I started my out-of-state deputation again with a Missions Conference in Hammond, Indiana, on March 27. I was blessed with many opportunities. I shared my testimony with two Sunday school classes, shared about missions with students at City Baptist School, and talked with many members and college students.
Thank you for your prayers for more meetings to happen; my calendar is slowly filling up.
