Keith Baker Prayer Letter: Pray Ye Therefore the Lord of the HarvestIn our last letter, I shared briefly that two of our students, Odisson and Frito, believed the Lord was leading them to start a church in the Bostaj area, about 10 miles from St. Raphael but a 75-minute drive because of the terrain. Those two students and I have conducted services for the past seven Friday nights in a local person’s yard. Since we undertook this work, four more of our eleven students have approached me to discuss two more church plants. I believe God continues to answer your prayers and our prayers. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:38)

Michel Medes, one of my preachers in Gonaives, needs prayer for healing after an accident involving the motorcycle he was driving and a truck. He suffered broken bones in his lower leg and foot. We are involved in constructing a church building in Gonaives, as they have been meeting in a member’s home for nearly two years.

Theresa’s weekly Bible Club is averaging over 100 children. She has also started an English class for the summer months, involving the teens and the unmarried young people.

We appreciate you and your financial and prayer support.

Respectfully,

Keith & Theresa Baker
