Keith Baker Prayer Letter: Fruit That Abounds . . . in IowaThe last few weeks have been profitable and blessed—profitable, not in money matters but in visitors, and blessed because Solid Rock Baptist Church had its Grand Opening service on August 26. Theresa and I helped our son’s family knock doors for over two weeks. On two Saturdays, we had some additional workers from Iowa churches to help distribute commencement brochures. Personally, my wife and I knocked on more than 1,100 doors, in addition to leaving invitations in doors at several apartment complexes.

On the Grand Opening day, the Lord gave us 43 in attendance, and 2 ladies walked the aisle at invitation time and trusted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. We praise the Lord that we had a small part in helping to start a work in the Des Moines, Iowa, area, as we have had a small part in establishing some churches in Haiti. I must add that there is fruit in Iowa that abounds to your account. We are grateful to God, Who gets all of the glory because He gives the increase.

As Theresa and I return to Haiti this month (September), we will set matters in order to begin seminary and Christian school teaching, as classes resume in St. Raphael in early October.

Thank you for your continuing prayers and support.

Respectfully,

Keith and Theresa Baker
