Our deputation trail continues on in the month of May. By God’s grace, we were able to present our ministry to the following churches: Mercy Baptist Church of North East, Maryland; Victory Baptist Church of Mentor, Ohio; Bible Baptist Church of Howell, Michigan; Hillview Baptist Church of Dickson, Tennessee; and Bergen Bible Baptist Church of Lodi, New Jersey. In the month of May, we traveled at least 3,391 miles. Please continue to pray for our traveling mercies. We’ve come across some hiccups with our vehicle, but the Lord has provided us with ways to get to our meetings.
We would like to welcome Bible Baptist Church of Howell, Michigan, and Hillview Baptist Church of Dickson, Tennessee, as our new supporters this month. Other pastors have expressed their interest in partnering with us. Please pray that the churches would also get on board to help us reach Australia with the Gospel.
It was an honor to be the keynote speaker for Bergen Bible Baptist Church’s Annual Evangelism Conference. What I enjoy about deputation is that there are so many opportunities to be trained further in the ministry and to serve. I had the privilege of preaching five times during this conference. My wife Mindy also got an opportunity to speak to the ladies. The Lord really met with us in a special way. Many decisions were made in regards to winning souls and the ministry. We enjoyed being able to help the church fold hundreds of tracts. On Saturday, many people came out to hear the Word of God preached and then practiced the things learned by going out soul winning in their neighborhood. I had the privilege of going out with two men in the church. We spoke to several people at the door, but nobody made any decisions. On our walk back to the church, I noticed a couple of young men working on their car. I love cars, and I thought this would be a good chance to talk to them. We offered to help, but we just didn’t have the tools to do so. Our conversation led to the plan of salvation; and, praise God, I was able to lead Xavier and Etni to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
Next month, we will be visiting churches in the following cities: Greenville, Ohio; North Olmstead, Ohio; Delton, Michigan; Polk, Pennsylvania; and Scranton, Pennsylvania. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us, and thank you to our partners for your financial support!
