Garry Tingson Prayer Letter: A Quarter of Our Target Support! Our deputation trail continues on in the month of April. By God’s grace, we were able to present our ministry to the following churches: Victory Baptist Church of Winthrop, Maine; Lighthouse of Hagerstown in Williamsport, Maryland; Victory Baptist Church of Del Rio, Texas; Central Calvary Baptist Church of West Plains, Missouri; Jasper County Baptist Church of Wheatfield, Indiana; Loomis Park Baptist Church of Jackson, Michigan; and First Baptist Church of South Brevard, Florida. We were also able to visit Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church of Martinsburg, West Virginia; Parkside Baptist Church of Mesquite, Texas; and Grace Baptist Church of Cleveland, Oklahoma. In the month of April, we traveled at least 7,091 miles. Our minivan has done a great job traveling all these miles with only minor maintenance issues. Please pray for wisdom for us regarding the decision to use our RV (which needs some mechanical and cosmetic repairs to be used) or the purchase of a small, pull-behind camper for future meetings.

We would like to welcome Victory Baptist Church of Del Rio, Texas; First Baptist Church of Goodrich, Michigan; and First Baptist Church of South Brevard, Florida; as our new supporters this month. We have now reached a quarter of our target support! We were blessed to have two churches vote to support us on the spot. Please pray for more churches to vote to partner with us in this great work.

There are so many stories to tell about this month, but I want to brag on a fellow missionary. Bro. Fisa Mihy-Mihyndu is an avid soul winner, and I had the honor to go with him during one of the conferences. We met a man who had just gotten home from work and was about to enter his camper trailer. Bro. Fisa waxed eloquent with the Gospel, but the man, for some reason, was having a hard time understanding it. In humility, Bro. Fisa, like in a tag-team match, handed the conversation over to me. If I were in his shoes, I wonder if I could have swallowed my pride and done the same thing. I believe Bro. Fisa knew that somebody’s salvation was bigger than anybody’s getting the glory for it. The man Leeroy was saved that day! I was reminded of a valuable lesson that day. I praise the Lord that we are a team when it comes to the ministry, and it doesn’t matter who gets the glory! To God be the glory!

Next month, we will be visiting the following cities: North East, Maryland; Mentor, Ohio; Howell, Michigan; Dickson, Tennessee; and Lodi, New Jersey. Please pray for traveling mercies. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us, and thank you also for your financial support!

Your servant in Christ,

Garry Tingson
